A Dash of Dictionary

Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary. ~Kahlil Gibran

No Small Wonder

Heart
Hammers
Fire
Blossoms in my chest
Eyes search, hands shake
Shallow breaths

Skin
Sweats
Blush rises
Across cheeks and breast
All at your likeness

No small wonder.
